My New Logo!

I have to give a shout out to my sis-in-law, Julia, for creating the logo for my new venture.  I'll be selling my crafts at local trade days and craft bazaars and wanted to brand all my goodies.  Julia is an amazing artist and an even better sister.  Thanks Julia...you're the best!

Why I Have a Messy House...

I usually pride myself on my immaculate home, but lately it's a mess. It is all my crochet needles' faults. I can't put them down. I've been busy making all sorts of fun and funky accessories. Here's a peek!

I'm obsessed with these cuffs.  I finally found jewelry my babies can't break.  I can never find bracelets to fit my unusually slender wrists.  I always have to take pieces to a jeweler and have them resized, but I can make these cuffs to fit perfectly.

Here's a look at the back...

I like the contrasting thread for the buttons.  Pearl  buttons look pretty, too.

I've also been making crochet and bead necklaces.  The only stitches you need to learn for these are the chain stitch and single crochet.  Easy!
Most of you have seen my Emmy in ridiculous bows and flower barrettes, but here's a new spin on a flower headband....
Kennedy likes these because they lay flatter than the artificial flower barrettes and headbands and are thereby not so "little girly".  Believe me, no almost 12 year old wants to be viewed as "little girly".

So, here are my first crafty projects to share with ya'll.  I hope you try one of these while the men watch football this weekend.  I'll be stitching in the car...road trip to watch our Cougars!!!  Go BYU!!!
